These symptoms can develop very rapidly and reaches full force in about 10 minutes, lasting anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes.

If you are prone to panic attacks you should create a plan on what you are going to do during an attack.

Many people find that going to a place in their home where they can wait and relax until the panic attack subsides.

Others prefer to take a jog and to do something physical whilst others like to do something that calms them like working in their garden.

Remember you will be an extremely better position on how to deal with panic attacks if you are aware of the situation and you have put a plan in place that you can follow.

I also recommend that you talk to your doctor or a medical professional to help you figure out what the best course of action to treat your panic attacks.

They might recommend a combination of medication and therapy treatment that might help your condition.

I also recommend that you take up some new habits that can greatly decrease your anxiety. Some habits I took up that really helped me with my anxiety are:

Eating a Healthy Balanced Mea: Trade fast food for home cooked meals. Drink lots of water and eat a lot of lean meats and healthy carbs such as brown rice.

Eliminate Caffeine from your Diet: Caffeine can trigger panic attacks. I know when I stopped consuming caffeine I had less panic attacks.

Regular Exercise 3 to 5 Times a Week: Exercise is a great way to combat anxiety. Studies have shown that exercise is a stress reducer. It reduces anxiety and makes you feel better about yourself!

Do Relaxing Activites: Activities such as taking a walk in the park or meditation. Doing relaxing activities can help calm your mind which in turn will reduce your anxiety.

All these things are crucial in how to deal with panic attacks.  On top of that they don't cost any money, but pay huge dividends in how you feel.
