What triggers these fears can be actual criticism a person receives, which than triggers anxiety. These fears

situations. After the event they may believe that they made mistakes and others have judged him or her.

persons life.
People with Social phobia also tend to
think that people that are having conversations are talking negatively about them.
An example of this is a person giving a
presentation at school, during his presentation he mispronounces a word which he than thinks everyone has
noticed and think he is a horrible speaker. These thoughts further fuel his anxiety which than manifest itself
with sweaty palms, even more stuttering, and maybe an anxiety attack.
